SIX ESSENTIALS OF GREATNESS
What should construction craft workers know about the ‘other side’ of the construction project? . . . The side that
assesses risk, schedules, manages and reports. What if every Journeyman-level worker had a better understanding of
where their efforts fit in? This “cross-training” workshop exposes Journeyman-level workers to appropriate insights into
six critical elements of team success.

THE JOURNEYMAN’S ROLE IN PRODUCTIVITY AND PROJECT SUCCESS
Skilled workers play a critical role in the realization of production goals. They are at the heart of how the work flows for
maximum efficiency and profit potential. When Journeymen realize and embrace their important roles in implementing
workflows, they become better and more engaged workers.
This three-hour session exposes Craft Workers to the basic elements of scheduling, implementing, monitoring, and
producing within job workflows.
Upon completion participants will:
• Know how their skill-set is assessed and utilized
• Have a better understanding of ‘critical’ work activities
• Understand the importance of deadlines
• Know how to engage their Supervisors in valuable knowledge sharing
• Know how to apply their experience and knowledge in complex work scenarios
