The 2024 AMA Pro-Stock Bagger Championship took center stage at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course during the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days ( VMD ), with over 40,000 motorcycle enthusiasts to the historic venue for three days of VMD race action . The weekend was filled with excitement as fans marveled at the handcrafted race machines on display in the paddock , setting the stage for a thrilling competition . The event kicked off on Friday with racers hitting the course for practice sessions before enjoying the myriad of entertainment options available at Vintage Motorcycle Days . The excitement continued on Saturday morning with a competitive qualifying session , where Cody Gilmore secured the pole position , setting the tone for the highly anticipated race . As the clock approached 4:30 pm , the roar of V-twin American horsepower filled the air , signaling the start of the main event . Cody Gilmore , riding for Suburban Motors H- D / Bridgestone , took an early lead , followed closely by former champion Arnie Wells and Australian contender Jake Masters .
