Names like Akwasi Frimpong (for Ghana by way of USA and the Netherlands), Seun Adigun, Ngozi Onwumere, Akuoma Omeoga (for Nigeria by way of the USA), Simidele Adeagbo (for Nigeria by way of Canada), Maame Biney (for USA by way of Ghana), Lamin Deen (for UK by way of Sierra Leone), Hakeem Abdul-Saboor (for USA) Aja Evans (for USA) and Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian (for Jamaica by way of the USA) to name but a few of a slew of athletes of African descent, at the ongoing Games, are showing the world Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian- Jamaica (Bobsled) the power of positivity while inspiring the world and younger generations through Sports. The Nigerian and Jamaican Women Bobsled Teams of Seun Adigun, Ngozi Onwumere, Akuoma Omeoga (Nigeria), Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian, Audra Segree and Carrie Russell (Jamaica) will race in their bobsleds; 30 years to this year when the first ever Jamaican male bobsled team did so at the 1988 Winter Games, which inspired a Disney classic movie Maame Biney - USA (Speedskating) dubbed, Cool Runnings. Both Teams are a first for Nigeria and Africa as a continent and Jamaica for women bobsledding.
