The brief for M-Architects was to design two office buildings
in Waverley, Johannesburg, a large one and a smaller one, for
occupation by tenants who were looking for easy accessibility
to the highway system and not wanting to pay premium rentals.
Since the suburb is new for office buildings, this presented the
question as to what level of sophistication should be aimed at
in the design and provision of facilities. Ivan Schlapobersky led
African Design Magazine through the process of creating and
delivering the first phase.
