The Alabama Scholastic
Press Association invites middle and
high school students to attend The
Long Weekend summer journalism
camp June 10-12 at the University
of Alabama. At The Long Weekend,
students will learn skills from
industry professionals to apply them
within their yearbook, newspaper,
multimedia, creative writing,
broadcast or sports journalism tracks.

sponsored by the Dow Jones
News Fund, offers Arizona high
school students the opportunity
to live on the University of Arizona
campus from June 5 to 11. With the
guidance of industry professionals
and student mentors, they produce
a newspaper and website with
content created by participants.
