Birth Registration Services Vital Statistics Agency has partnered with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Service Canada, and Health Insurance B.C. to provide the parents of newborn children a quick and secure way to register for:    Canada Child Benefits (CCB) Social Insurance Number (SIN) Medical Services Plan for BC Residents (MSP) Take Note ! Application for these services through Vital Statistics is only available when you are regis- tering the birth of your child who is under the age of one. Each program has its own eligibility requirements.
