Set sail on an adventure into the world of
mermaids and pirates. Treasure hunts, sand

Sign, Say and Play
Sign language for babies
Instructor: Allison Garrison
Ages: 6 months – 3 years
6 week sessions
This play class for parents and their babies
highlights signs that are most important in the
lives of babies. Signing will be taught through
fun games with BeeBo™ the Baby Signs® Bear
and Baby Signs® songs. Parents will learn play
activities that reinforce important language,
cognitive and social-emotional skills to
bring families together to share their signing
experiences.

¡Hola amigos!

Ages: 3 ½ – 5
8 week sessions
This introduction to Spanish class is designed
to provide children with plenty of movement,
music and fun. This approach to teaching
Spanish uses vocabulary, colors, numbers,
greetings, days of the week, and weather.
There are many benefits to learning a second
language at a young age, including better
problem solving abilities, higher levels of
self-confidence and better reasoning skills.
Children will have fun interacting with other
kids while creating arts and crafts, enjoying
talking to Pepe the Puppet, and singing along
in Spanish.

Wee Little Arts
Teaching the creative process to
young artists
Instructor: Marg Bucher
Ages: 4 – 5
A preschool visual arts program dedicated
to engaging and empowering children by
helping them to discover the creative process
based on four 8-week sessions: Elements of
Art, Drawing, Painting and Three Dimensions.
The same subjects are taught each year, but
with different projects, so a student is not
repeating projects, but learning is reinforced
and added to with each class.
Fundamental elements are introduced and
the students apply these elements to their
work. A variety of media are used to inspire

Whiz Kids
A class full of discoveries
Instructor: Little Scholars Staff
Ages: 4 – 5
Grab your goggles and lab coat; we are on a
scientific discovery mission! Explore the world
of science through everyday objects such as
toys, food and nature.
Children will learn how the things we use in
our daily lives are a part of science. There will
be some explosions, a few creations, and a
whole lot of discoveries.
