In this class, the alphabet comes to life
through a wide variety of arts and crafts
activities. Alphabet Art will expose your
budding scholar to learning letter-sound
relationships, letter formation and sensory
experiences.
Join Garden Education Specialist, Amanda
Montgomery, in the Weinstein JCC Edible
Schoolyard. Children will learn about what
plants need in order to grow, basic gardening
tasks and how to use one’s senses in the
garden.

Great Beginnings
A playgroup for parents and children
Instructor: Dawn Kowal
Ages: newborn – 24 months
8 week sessions
Great Beginnings is a playgroup for parents
and children that provides a first-time group
experience filled with recreational and
educational activities. This is a wonderful
introduction to the Weinstein JCC and all it has
to offer! Join Dawn, Weinstein JCC Preschool’s
Judaic & Art Specialist as she entertains and
facilitates fun for you and your little one. Sing,
play, dance and explore with your child, while
both of you meet new friends.

classes of mixed ages by singing, moving,
chanting, listening, and exploring childsafe percussion instruments with parent or
caregiver who models musical behavior.
Regardless of your own musical ability, find fun
in this playfully creative environment supporting
your child’s primary music development.

Jewelry with Val
Fun for children who love to create
with clay

A class for molding clay and getting messy.
In this class, children will create jewelry and
other items and explore finishing techniques
with glaze, utilizing color, form, pattern and
texture.
