An extensive variety of group fitness and mind/body classes such as Cycling, Yoga, Zumba, and BodyPump are free with membership. Monday, September 12 6:00 pm Code: 16296 $10 JCC members $15 non-members MELT Nia Achieve lasting changes in how your body looks and feels Instructor: Heather Umburger Ages: 16+ Love your Body, Love your LIFE Instructor: Heather Umberger Ages: 18+ 6-week session In this four-week series, you will learn to identify and remove stress stuck in your body, the major cause of chronic aches and pains. Improve your overall body sense and notice the changes as your body effortlessly finds greater alignment and balance. You will activate your own core strength and stability and rehydrate the tissues of your body for greater mobility and ease of motion. MELT helps common issues like headaches, insomnia, bloating, weight gain, cellulite and more! The Nia promise is conditioning of the body, mind and spirit. This class will guide you to learn and use the 52 moves of Nia and the 9 movement forms from dance, martial arts and the healing arts to sense pleasure and ease in your body. You will understand why in this class, participants say, “Love your body, love your life.” Nia is traditionally done barefoot.
