Dance Discovery II
Ages: 5- 6 Instructor: Patty Mochary In Dance Discovery II, dancers increase their locomotor repertoire with triplets, prancing and travel in the horizontal plane( facing the audience while moving across the stage). Students will begin to create short pieces of work and add to their understanding of movement qualities and how to use them in composition. Dancers continue to build their ballet repertoire and explore how to manipulate the quality of these movements in order to use them in modern, jazz and hip-hop dancing. Leotard and ballet slippers required. The Dance Recital will be for those students doing the whole year program with an additional recital fee of $ 65. Code: 14343 Mondays: 2:45- 3:30 p. m. Children participate at their own level in classes of mixed ages by singing, moving, chanting, listening, and exploring child-safe percussion instruments with parent or caregiver who models musical behavior. Sports Spectacular
Ages: 4 – 5 Instructor: Weinstein JCC staff This class is designed to teach your child valuable team skills and focus on gross motor skills( handeye coordination, balance and body control) while keeping active. Great Beginnings
Ages: Newborn – 24 months Instructor: Dawn Kowal Great Beginnings is a playgroup for parents and children that provides a first-time group experience filled with recreational and educational activities. Come sing, play, dance and explore with your child while both of you meet new friends. Great Beginnings is an opportunity to socialize and share your experiences in a community of parents.
