Ducks Lunch and Fun
Ages: 3- 5 If you don’ t have time to run errands or bring your children in for a swim, no problem! Leave it to the JCC Aquatics Staff! Not only will the children have a supervised lunch, they will also enjoy a beginner level swim lesson in our recreational pool. Skills to be taught include: enter and exit water safely, blowing bubbles, submerging the mouth, nose and eyes, front and back glide, front and back float, front and back kick, front and back arm movement, recover to vertical position, treading in chest deep water, jumping into the water and water safety skills. All skills will be performed with support from the instructor. Children must be toilet-trained to participate; this class is designed to be your child’ s first water experience without a parent. Preschool Advanced Lunch and Fun
Ages: 3 – 5 After successful completion of the Ducks class your child can advance to this class. Children will have a supervised lunch and will also enjoy a beginner level swim lesson in our recreational pool. Skills to be taught include: Breath holding, bobbing, front and back float, front and back kick, front and back glide, front and back arm movements, picking up submerged objects, jumping into the water, recover to vertical position, treading water and water safety skills. Clay Creations
Ages: 4- 5 Instructor: Valerie Marousek Children will practice sculpting by making their own clay creations. Working with clay is wonderful for fine and gross motor development, a fun way to use their imaginations, and a fun sensory stimulation activity. Fee includes all materials & kiln firing. Lil Kickers
Ages: 4- 5 Instructor: Weinstein JCC staff Learn how to dribble, pass and score in this fun soccer class! Team-building skills are strongly emphasized. Students will work towards playing a game. Ballet Slippers

Wee Little Arts
Ages: 4- 5 Instructor: Marg Bucher Wee Little Arts is a preschool visual arts program dedicated to engaging and empowering children by helping them to discover the creative process. It is a curriculum based on four 8-week sessions, each session devoted to one of the following subjects; Elements of Art, Drawing, Painting and Three Dimensions. The same subjects are taught each year, but with different projects so a student is not repeating projects, but learning is reinforced and added on to with each class. Fundamental elements are introduced and the students apply these elements to their work. A variety of media are used to inspire experimentation. Kung Fu Kids
Ages: 3- 4 Instructor: Sifu Marcus Evans This program takes exercises from the Chinese art of Ving Tsun Kung Fu. The classes are specially designed to help your children gain confidence to resist negative peer pressure. The exercises develop valuable skills such as: self-confidence, focus, self-discipline, respect, balance and coordination. Uniform is required – includes shirt and pants at a cost of $ 40.
