His commentary will be woven with several scenes from the play followed by a Q&A session with Robbins and the cast members and ending with a book signing and dessert reception. Jonathan is a “versatile, virtuoso ventriloquist with a captivating cast of puppet partners” that have entertained audiences of all ages throughout the country. You will meet his puppet friends Shmendrik, Ezra, Danny, Yosi, Mister Monster, Aunt Sarah AND MORE!! At 1 p.m., back by popular demand from last year’s Israeli Film Festival, a screening of Follow Me: The Yoni Netanyahu Story followed by readings from Netanyahu’s book by local teens and a discussion. This event is designed for teens and adults (ages 13+). Popcorn and drinks included. This year’s Gift Shop will be filled with even more amazing Judaic items from around the world. Each fall the Weinstein JCC is transformed into a worldclass boutique! For 10 days in November we bring you a remarkable selection of the most unique, beautiful and fun Judaic jewelry, housewares, décor, kids’ items and a terrific selection of books highlighting great Jewish authors both new and old. In anticipation for this amazing community event, we are having a party. Join the ReelAbilities Committee, community partners, sponsors, media, and enthusiastic supporters to celebrate this important program which raises awareness of the lives and experiences of people with different abilities. We will have entertainment, food, drink and schmoozing to kickoff the planning phase of the Festival.
