Do you want to feel better physically, mentally
and emotionally? Set goals and reach them in
this 10-week session. You will see results! You
will feel better! This 10-week session meets
twice a week for high intensity workouts that
are customized to each person’s fitness ability.
You will also meet one-on-one each week with
a Wellness Coach to discuss accountability for
goals. Nutrition awareness, fitness and body
assessments will be performed at start and
end of the session to show how much you
have improved. In this 10-week course, we’ll learn the
fundamentals of establishing a successful
practice. We’ll learn the importance of breath
and how it relates to the stress in our lives,
and how small changes can make a big
difference in how we relate to ourselves and
the world around us. All are welcome; no prior
experience is necessary.
This yoga class offers families an opportunity
to bond together through the practice of fun
yoga poses and mindfulness practices. Your
family will enjoy this healthy physical activity
while also learning how to support each other
with greater compassion and calmness, on
and off the yoga mat.

Minding the Mat

This 8-week series of classes is a hybrid blend
of Pilates, yoga, and fitness that emphasizes
core strength and body alignment. Taught by
master Pilates Instructor, Karen Roodman,
focus will be placed on abdominal and back
strength, pelvic stability, hip mobility, and
postural awareness. Karen holds a master’s
in Kinesiology and has a science-infused
teaching style that will help participants
understand and practice ideal alignment,
form, and function. Pilates props including,
foam rollers, light weights, resistance
bands, rings, and balls, will be incorporated
to diversify and amplify this dynamic mat
experience that can adapted to suit individual
abilities.

Meditation

Prerequisite: Intro to Meditation
In this 10-week class, we will continue to
deepen our practice. We will experience Yoga
Nidra, a state of deep relaxation, providing
our body and mind the optimal opportunity to
conduct its important maintenance and repair
work. We will work with our breath through
Pranayama, and then go into our Meditation
practice.
