Where Learning is a Journey of Discovery … A Program Reimagined
After much thought , research and planning , and in accordance with extended protocols and guidelines due to COVID-19 , the Early Childhood Department is offering a new Preschool model for the current school year . We took this challenging time as an opportunity to rethink , revise and reimagine some aspects of our program , and as a result the Weinstein JCC ’ s Early Childhood Department is excited to offer this new preschool program on Mondays through Friday from 9:00 a . m . to 4:30 p . m .

Though we follow Jewish tradition , families of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome in our preschool and community .
The Importance of Connecting Children to Nature :
With the challenges of Covid-19 , we are thrilled to have so many opportunities for our children to spend most of their days in Preschool outdoors enjoying the wonder of the natural world .
Classrooms Alive with Investigation , Collaboration and Creativity
Inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach enhances the very heart of our programs , which provide an experience that shapes not only children ’ s knowledge and skill , but also their attitudes about learning and intellectual curiosity . This is a journey that the children and teachers take together , requiring the teachers to connect with their children ’ s interests and follow their lead as they explore the world around them indoors and outdoors .
