Active Adults Grand Tones The performing arm of our Adult Programs Preparations are always under way for performances at nursing homes, organizations, hospitals, churches, synagogues and civic functions. The Grand Tones are now over 50 years running under the direction of volunteer Betsy Cockriel and are joined by pianist Frances Gordon. If you love music but are not a singer, you are still welcome to join us just to listen, have lunch and socialize! Silver Sneakers Chanukah Party Join us for this special event for members of the Weinstein JCC Silver Sneakers Program. Celebrate the “Festival Of Lights,” meet with our staff and other members, hear about our programs and enjoy delicious light Chanukah food and dessert. RSVP by December 2nd to 545-8611 or sbarck@ weinsteinjcc.org The Better Together Project Partnership with Weinstein JCC and Rudlin Torah Academy This special program brings together older adults from the Jewish Community and 7th and 8th grade students from Rudlin Torah Academy. Each month, the group will meet for an innovative intergenerational program including learning, a creative project and a light snack. The goal is to share and build relationships between the generations. Tuesdays This program meets every Tuesday year round and is for adult men and women. Activities include entertainment, guest speakers, current events and intergenerational programs. Many of the holidays are celebrated, including a Chanukah party with the preschool children and a Sweetheart Day luncheon. Tuesdays 12:00 pm: Lunch (Bring your own lunch and join the fun. Dessert, coffee & tea provided.) 12:30 – 1:30 pm: Varied weekly program and activities Cost: $28 per year for JCC members only. Ages: All Join this fun intergenerational luncheon with the oldest Weinstein JCC preschoolers and the Center’s senior adults as we celebrate Chanukah with a homemade holiday lunch and share songs and traditions of the holiday.
