Freedom Four 4-Mile Run
Saturday, July 4 • Race Start: 7:30am
At Lake Ellyn Park
Age: 5 & Up. Run for recreation! The
Freedom Four™ helps support the Friends
of Glen Ellyn Parks' Scholarship Fund,
which allows families in our community
experiencing economic hardship to
attain no and/or reduced cost recreation
programs. Awards are presented to the
top two male and female finishers in
each age division at around 8:30am. A
Freedom Four™ t-shirt is guaranteed to
every early bird registrant. Participants
registering after early bird period receive
t-shirts while supplies last. There will be
no refund of race entry fees. (rm)

Day-of-race registration will be available from 6am-
7:30am at Lake Ellyn Park. Registration is not accepted
at any Park District office.

Family Fun Ride
Afternoon Festivities FREE!
Age: All. Bring your family for a few
hours of fun and music after the Fourth
of July Parade! You’ll feel great knowing
that proceeds from the event help
support the Glen Ellyn Park District’s
Scholarship Fund.
A $3 wristband (cash only) is required
for kids to enjoy all the action including
bounce houses, inflatable obstacle
courses, penny carnival games with
tickets redeemable for prizes, and face
painting. The live music, performed by
Shout Out, is free and open to the public,
and concessions will be available for
purchase. (ts)

At Lake Ellyn Park
Age: All. Parents, kids, and riders of
all ages are invited to participate in
the Duncan Law Group Family Fun
Ride, a two lap bike ride around the
historic Lake Ellyn professional cycling
race course. The DLG Family Fun Ride
will take place prior to the women's
and men's professional races at the
Tour of Lake Ellyn. Please arrive with
a functioning bicycle and helmet to
enjoy the same ups, downs, twists,
and turns that the bike racers will be
competing on!
