Cardboard Regatta
Saturday, June 27 • 10am to ~3pm
At Lake Ellyn Park
Join us for a challenging, fun and wet
adventure that combines cardboard,
tape, creativity, and engineering. Build
a cardboard boat and race it against
other boats! In addition to the races
themselves, boats will be eligible to
win in other non-racing categories,
including creativity, team spirit, and most
spectacular sinking. This event is free to
watch and open to the public.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
9-10am: Boat check-in and inspections
9-11am: Canoe rentals ($5 for 15 minutes)
11am: Food Truck Picnic in the Park opens
Presented by the Glen Ellyn 4th of July Committee

Fee: $50/boat. All entries receive 12
sheets of corrugated cardboard. The Park
District will provide paddles (no kayak
paddles allowed). Registration is required
by June 26 at 12pm.

or less. Each boat must have
a balanced mixture of youths
(age 9-17) and adults (age 18+).
116581 Adult: Team of 8 adults or less
