Catalans claim unfair trial
Yesterday, the 21st of February 2019, there took place in Catalunya a general strike called by the Union Intersindical-CSC. The real reason for this strike was due to the judicial process against the political prisoners.
Since the 12th of February, politicians are being questioned at the Supreme Court in Madrid. They are accused of rebellion, sedition and misappropriation.
In Barcelona, Tarragona, Lleida and Girona, millions of people came out against this unfair trial in which they are not only judging the politicians; they are judging more than two million Catalans.
This is the reason why students and workers came together, and went out to show themselves. They protested for the freedom of all Catalan political prisoners and for their right to self determination.
