She received two awards in 1981 at the Cannes Film Festival and two film Academy nominations for best actress.
Brigitte Bardo was triumphant in 1956 with the movie Et Dieu Créa la femme (“And God created the woman”). After the following movies, Malheur (“In the event of calamity”) and Babette sén va-t-en guerre (“Babette goes to war”), she becomes very popular in France.
Alain Delon starred in Rocco and his brothers, directed by Luchino Visconti, for which he was widely praised by film critics. Delon made his theater debut in Paris in John Ford’s play ‘Pity She’s a whore’, together with Romy Schneider and directed by Visconti. Delon worked again with Visconti for Il Gattorpado (Leopard). Delon has worked with Jean-Pierre Melville, who directed the films Le Flic, Le Cercle Rogue and Samurai. In 1973, he sang a duet with French singer, Dalida song Paroles, paroles. He played in Zorro (1975) and in 1976 starred in César Award winner, Monsieur Klein.
