Behavior plan process Dr. Mary Wolverton, associate superintendent for elementary schools, along with Cory McInyre, associate superintendent for middle schools and student services, and Dr. Timothy Gadson, III, associate superintendent for high schools, presented the district’s behavior plan process as a review, and provided examples at the elementary and secondary level with how the behavior plan is implemented. Building behavior plans are developed and communicated at the site level using common information provided by the district, and the referral process and behavioral supports are developed in collaboration with the district and the schools. Building behavior plans and processes are in alignment with district policies. The expectation is that each school annually reviews and shares the building behavior plans, along with the current supports and communication protocols with all staff. The focus for the 2019-20 school year is to review plans on a trimester basis, gathering input and feedback from staff. This will identify and support potential revisions and recommendations on behavior support plans. Finance Final budget ammendment for 2018-19 school year Michelle Vargas, chief financial officer for the district chief financial summarized and provided amendments to the FY19 budget, a routine action to prepare for the end of the year and audit process.
