The second short film festival of the project was a great moment of the meeting in Braila.
Fifteen films were showed and six of them were rewarded for their artistic and/or technical qualities.

One of the films made by Polish team and presented in Romania was the picture entitled: "In the darkness” The movie focuses on the 21st century issues from a teenager’s point of view. It shows a self-destructive environment among youth and the lack of love between humans. Teenagers left alone in the world of adults feel lonely, lost and isolated The main protagonist of the film is a teenage girl leading her life from hand to mouth. She has a family but does not feel loved by her relatives. Experiencing problems she desperately seeks help from her parents but they, tired with work and everyday troubles, do not have time for her. The heroine after a few attempts to get on with her family finally gives up. She stays completely alone with her broken heart and the need to be loved and accepted.
The very last shot leaves an open ending to a watcher’s imagination. Our teenager is consumed by the light and a viewer needs to decide on his own whether she survives or not.
