Experience

Another advantage of this trip was its ability for us to make new friends and build good relationships between these different people and so between many countries through Europe. Now we can say that we have broadened our horizons, and as they invited us to come again we will soon be back in a foreign country !

About the competition, it was a hard choice for us, as real juries, to choose one movie for each country, and rank them from the first to the fith. What made such complicated this choice was that all the movies we saw well reflected the idea of the 21st century issues in the European Union but in different ways. All the different points of view given by the movies were interesting and made us think about these problems.

Romania is truly a friendly country. The host families were very helpful, kind, patient and the food was really good. We enjoyed a lot this experience with so different people. It seems quite natural for them to be as welcoming as they were with us. When we went to the Danube delta, we enjoyed the countryside a lot, even if it is really different from France, because there are a lot of plains. The city of Brăila was very green, and had a lot of pollens in the air.

We hope that our friendship will last, and it gave us the impetous to take part in another ERASMUS program at university.
