Gothic Cinema
In Lycée Marcel Gimond this year, the 28 students attending the class of Literature in English studied Gothic literature and cinema.
Amond the different tasks they performed, they studied a recent adaptation of a short story by American Writer Edgar Allen Poe, entitled The Tell-Tale Heart. This adaptation was directed by American Director Bart Mastronardi who kindly supported them in their work and even accepted to answer their questions about his film.
The aim of this work was to help them find inspiration to invent and create their own Gothic short films. On the whole five different movies were created and the result is really stunning!
Thank you to all the students for their great commitment in this project, and special thanks to Bart Mastronardi who supported them and gave some of his time.
