In large urban areas with little green space, stormwater
management goes beyond reducing urban runoff and improving
water quality, the primary focus is increasing water supplies.
For other communities stormwater management is green
infrastructure to enhance water quality by taking advantage of
natural filtering and for others private capital and a stormwater
credit trading program is protecting the Great Lakes Region.
