AWWA’s Disinfection Survey 2017 received responses from over 380
utilities across the United States. The survey results contain valuable
data about current disinfection practices by small, medium, and large
public water supplies. The data reflects trends and changes over the
past 10 years resulting from regulatory drivers as well as from cost and
operations challenges associated with disinfection strategies.
