Bad Bunny sells 2.6m tickets in a week
Bad Bunny’ s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS world tour saw more than 2.6 million tickets sold for 54 shows in 18 countries across four continents in just one week, according to Live Nation. The promoter said the tour’ s on-sale sparked a remarkable level of demand, with more than 10 million fans entering online sales queues worldwide. Presented by Live Nation and Rimas Nation, the 56-date stadium run will commence on 12 November in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It will then travel through Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, Sweden, Poland, and Italy, before wrapping in Belgium on 22 July 2026.

Live Nation takes on first Colombian venue
Live Nation is to begin operating its first venue in Columbia, via its affiliates OCESA and Grupo Páramo, marking another key step in the concert and ticketing giant’ s South American expansion. Live Nation will operate the 15,000-seat Arena Cañaveralejo in Cali via partners OCESA, a Mexico-headquartered concert promoter, and Colombian concert promoter Grupo Páramo. Live Nation acquired a 51 % stake in the former in 2021, and a majority stake in Páramo two years later. Arena Cañaveralejo opened in 1957 as a bullring and underwent a multi-million dollar renovation in 2021. Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino said,“ This venue will allow us to bring more world-class artists to Cali while also supporting local talent and growing the live music ecosystem in Colombia.”

Mariah Carey to perform in the Amazon Rainforest
The team behind Rock in Rio is preparing to stage the two-day Amazônia pra Sempre event in Belém, Pará, on 17 September with the aim of helping to highlight the Amazon Rainforest’ s biodiversity and the urgent need to protect what remains. The event will see artists including Mariah Carey perform on a floating stage shaped like a giant water lily. The 88-tonne, 25 metre-wide, stage will be set up on the waters of the Rio Guamá. The concert will be staged two months before Belém hosts COP 30, the United Nations Climate Change Conference.
