FireAid raises more than $ 100m

The FireAid Benefit Concert at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum on 30 January saw 35 artists perform for a live broadcast that has helped to raise well over $ 100 million . The funds are being allocated to the rebuilding of LA communities and wildfire prevention .

Billed as an ‘ evening of music and solidarity ’, the show saw performances by acts including Billie Eilish , Pink , Katy Perry , Nirvana and Dr Dre . Organised by the Annenberg Foundation , the event was supported by suppliers including Clair Global , which together with group brands Eighth Day Sound and Sound Image supported rehearsals while ATK deployed a donated d & b audiotechnik KSL PA system to the Kia Forum .

Live Nation forges multi-year deal with NFL

Live Nation will produce the post-game ceremony of the Super Bowl for at least the next three years . The deal follows Super Bowl LIX , which took place on 9 February at the Superdome in New Orleans . Kendrick Lamar and SZA performed during the halftime show , on which Jay-Z ’ s Roc Nation consults with NFL . Live Nation said it will build on the excitement of the Super Bowl ’ s pre-game and halftime shows , to deliver a spectacular trophy ceremony that will redefine the post-game experience . The ceremony is set to become a key feature of the Super Bowl . Live Nation SVP special operations James Massing said , “ The Super Bowl is such an iconic event – we jumped at the opportunity to partner with the NFL for the post-game ceremony .”

Lowlands sells 65,000 tickets in 23m

While many festivals have struggled in recent years , 2025 has seen some big winners with festivals including Wales ’ Green Man , Belgium ’ s Tomorrowland , Switzerland ’ s Greenfield Fest , Spain ’ s Primavera Sound , Ireland ’ s Electric Picnic and Germany ’ s Wacken Open Air selling out swiftly . The latest festival to see all its tickets offloaded in mere moments is the 65,000 capacity Lowlands , which sold out in 23 minutes with tickets priced € 349 (£ 291 ). Promoted by Live Nation-backed Mojo Concerts , Lowlands will see a lineup including Chappell Roan , A $ AP Rocky , Queens of the Stone Age , Fontaines D . C . and Jamie xx perform at the 15 – 17 August event in Biddinghuizen .
