placements are facilitated through the Work Experience Facilitator and require a current resume , an intake interview , and commitment of time during school hours and vacation periods . Successful candidates are granted a certificate for the hours committed to the experience , and a reference letter from their employer or the Work Experience Facilitator . The program has operated successfully during COVID19 restrictions , allowing students to select from virtual and / or in-person placements depending on CDC directives and student and family preference . Information applying to the work experience program is sent individually to students via MySchool announcements in early fall for applications for both the Winter , Spring , and Summer intakes . Additional information is provided through assemblies , morning announcements , Career Education classes , and is also available through the Work Placement Facilitator directly .
