I have a lot of good memories of my senior year ,but the most beautiful and unforgettable memory was the day that me and my friends went out for lunch to celebrate for our senior year. While we were in the bus we were trying to decide at which restaurant we should go, and my friend Alya provided us a suggestion to try a japanese restaurant that she had tried before and we agreed and went to that restaurant. Samurai is the name of the restaurant that we had decided to go to. The moment we arrived there was two workers in the restaurant are only working for greeting the customers by their japanese way. The main color that they chose for the restaurant is red as they had told us that they chose red because of the japanese flag color . The style of the restaurant was modern and it has japanese painting on the walls. The way of how they present the sushi is the thing that I’ve liked and and took my attention. They used an electronic machine around the table to move the sushi in front of the people so they can chose their dishes directly. The first dish that we’ve tried is Miso soup it is the main soup in japan and it made up from Enoki mushrooms and bean curd. The soup got the taste of the sweet potatoes and mushroom which made the dish so delicious. And also we’ve tried another soup was Udno it is a soup made of dried fish water , seaweed, mushrooms and noodles. It has that fishy taste and the texture of the noodles was soft and thick.

The second dish that we’ve tried was Sushi and this part was the important part of the lunch. They usually eats sushi in special events and the rice that they use is mixed with vinegar. They use tempura maki which means a fried shrimp contains stuffed shrimp,tempura,mayonnaise, egg ,flower and oil .Kappa maki is one kind of a sushi that is made up from cucumber and sesame seed. Wasabi maki is a spicy plant that they use to cover the sushi with it is very spicy the moment you try a small amount of it and you’ll feel the strong flavour of spice . The taste of sushi at first is strong and then you can taste the crunchy shrimp with a taste of the vinegar in the rice .Soya sauce is a sauce that they use a lot .The flavour has richer and slightly sweeter than salty. And after that the dessert was Mango cream it is soft and silk from outside actually like a yellow dough and it’s so tender tasted like a sweet mango. It is just like a mango ice cream that melts directly and you can feel the sugary taste while chewing the mang. It was a great experience and we recommend people to visit and try Samurai restaurant .
