About Letech Founded in 2009 by Andreas Lennartz, LETECH GmbH made its name restoring and modifying classic off-road vehicles. Since then, it has established a reputation for developing one-off, custom off-roaders and low-volume production vehicles for global manufacturers from its modern manufacturing facility in Welzheim, Germany( nr Stuttgart). LETECH Modifications and Performance:
LETECH’ s modifications dramatically improve the Grenadier’ s off-road
geometry:
• Increased Ground Clearance: Raised by 186mm to a total of 450mm.
• Enhanced Wading Depth: Increased from 800mm to 1,050mm.
These engineering changes also result in a wider vehicle footprint, optimized weight distribution, greater wheel travel, and improved axle articulation. This ensures the Grenadier can confidently traverse challenging environments such as deep sand, severely flooded terrain, or extremely rocky landscapes.
Practical Features and Capacities:
The Grenadier’ s impressive 3,500kg braked trailer towing capacity is retained. Payload capacities are also enhanced by uprating the vehicles’ Gross Vehicle Mass( GVM) to
4.2-tonnes, allowing for up to 540kg for the Station Wagon and up to 642kg for the Quartermaster( including mandatory accessories).
Additional enhancements offered by LETECH include a fully integrated Tyre Pressure Control System, a Loadspace Drawer Box with two lockable drawers, LED Rear Working Lamps, and a MAXTRAX Sand Ladder Kit.

Warranty and Availability
The standard vehicle’ s five-year, unlimited mileage mechanical factory warranty remains in place. LETECH provides a two-year warranty on the conversion parts.
For customers in EU and EEA countries, orders can be placed through their locaGrenadier retailer, who will coordinate directly with LETECH for production and delivery. LETECH handles the vehicle order, full conversion, individual homologation for road use, and shipping to the end customer’ s retailer for local registration and delivery. In Germany, LETECH manages the entire process from end-to-end. Plans for official availability of portal axle converted Grenadiers in other key global markets will be announced in the future.
