PROJECT UPDATES
Lobatse Junction
Shopping Centre
We are still needing a month to complete phase 1 which is the new taxi rank that is planned for completion by the end of June. We will then need
to relocate the existing taxi rank after which the bulk earthworks and building works can start on the shopping centre proper.
Spar
We were within few weeks of
handing over the building to
Spar when we had to close
down the site so hopefully by
mid-June the contractor will get
practical completion. We will
then be helping Spar to have the
refrigeration plant, bakery ovens,
meat processing equipment and
racking installed in the building.
Hopefully, Spar will be able
to fully use the facility by the
beginning of October.
Teemane
Retail Park
We have an offer from an anchor supermarket
and now need to secure the rest of the tenants
who have been banging down our doors to sign
up for the centre. Based on our current planning,
we are hoping to start construction during
October 2020.
Showgrounds
Office Park
We have received a really good response
to this development and we sold 25% of the
development before we even started construction.
Our piling contractor could not complete the
piles before lockdown and we now need to
get them back from South Africa before Sharps
Construction can start the building proper.
