Kgwebo @ Fairgrounds The latest sectional title office suites in Fairgrounds Office Park

Kgwebo @ Fairgrounds is a simple and efficient office space with plenty of natural daylight penetration into the buildings . Rewind two and a half years ago to when construction commenced ; Van and Truck Hire was awarded the bulk earthworks contract , which were executed smoothly over the period 6 February to 4 March 2020 . The piling works which were awarded to VNA Piling , a South African company , commenced 10 March 2020 .
However , VNA Piling had to expatriate its staff back to South Africa when His Excellency the President of the Republic of Botswana declared a national lockdown to prevent the spread of Covid-19 , the first lockdown , commencing midnight 2 April 2020 . Botswana ended the 48-day national lockdown on May 21 . We managed to get VNA Piling back on site early July 2020 and it completed the piling works 30 July 2020 , one day prior to the Greater Gaborone zone going into lockdown for a third time . The third lockdown ran 31 July to 14 August 2020 .
Everyone can attest to the uncertainty the pandemic created ; nonetheless the project team came out of the third lockdown energised and immediately got the ball rolling with the principal contract . Sharps Construction who was awarded the principal contract started its works 17 August 2020 , for which it reached practical completion on the first building on 1 December 2021 and on 1 March 2022 for the second building . The principal contract was not without delays ; however , Sharps Construction used its best endeavours to recover lost time and progress on site .
As with all our developments , we try to offer purchasers well designed , excellent quality units that offer value for money . For Kgwebo @ Fairgrounds , we provided purchasers with extensive tenant allowances and internal layout drawings done to their individual requirements ; for which we then handed over completed units ready for furniture to move in and immediately commence operations . This offering managed to attract Kgare Insurance Brokers , Grand Reinsurance , Sky Bridge Capital and Vunani Fund Managers to the development , all of which are trading from the premises .
