Further afield in Zambia, Heinrich and his team are ploughing ahead with great success in a challenging economy. The long awaited Kabwata Mall will be complete in March 2020 with Shoprite the anchor tenant and almost all the other space already accounted for. We are also embarking on a further development of a basketball court for the Disabled Society alongside the outdoor gym which we did last year from the funds raised at the Time Adventure Challenge – a big thank you to all our friends and colleagues for your support. Time Projects Zambia is developing the ZiCA site in Lusaka in the Arcades node. This is a magnificently well located property ideally suited for the financial services industry with most accounting firms and banks located there close to East Park Mall, one Lusaka’s largest shopping centres. So you can see we are going to be extremely busy in 2020 and beyond. This hasn’t happened by accident. It is due to the dedicated, motivated and highly skilled team that we have at Time Projects. The Time team is just like a family where every cog in the wheel supports the other to drive a well-oiled machine. And of course, we are supported by clients, financiers and investors, all of whom we aim to satisfy beyond their expectations, to keep our business world class. During this time we have been busy with our charity work. We are helping the Cancer Association of Botswana to develop their long awaited care home in Block 7 for children visiting Gaborone for treatment. People may say that two years seems like a long time but really this was done quite quickly considering that we had never met until our February meeting.
