GENERAL NEWS Farewell to the Cronjé family By Clifford Ferreira We are sad to say goodbye to this lovely young family who is returning to South Africa to take on exciting new challenges. Henno has been a senior project manager in our residential division since 2009 and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. His calm manner and careful consideration of our clients’ needs has led to plenty complimentary feedback over the years. Professionals, associates and contractors alike will all be sad to see him go having enjoyed good working relations with him. When things did get a little tough as they sometimes do in our industry, Henno’s sense of humour could be relied upon to lighten the mood. Henno has immersed himself in the Time Projects culture of not just being part of the team in the office, but getting involved in outside activities as well. He has been instrumental in the running of the Time Adventure Challenge with his role increasing each year to the point that he was the principal organiser this year. This has extended to him seeing that the funds raised from the event are properly utilised, most recently in the construction of two outdoor gym parks donated to the city by Time Projects in Kgale View and Broadhurst, as well as the substantial contribution made to the Bontleng Futsal Park Project. I am sure some of you reading this will know of Henno’s regular involvement and love for sport. He has taken part in many local events including The Kalahari Mountain Bike Challenge, Lady Khama Race and the Gaborone Marathon to mention a few. He has also excelled in trail running completing some of the tougher challenges like Mont-Aux-Sources and the Otter Trail in South Africa. Even though Liezl has been very busy bringing Maya, Anton and Una into the world since she has been in Gaborone, she has still found time start a few business ventures of her own. Our lasting memory of Liezl in the Time Projects family will always be of her having the biggest smile ever. Liezl and Henno have embraced the Gaborone lifestyle and have made many friends who will all be sad to see them go. We wish them well in their future endeavours and would like them to know that they will be missed by us all. Funkie and Malebogo tie the knot! Congratulations to Funkie and Malebogo Moroka who were married in a church service held at Mochudi Home Gardens on 30 September. The wedding celebration took place at Top High Events Garden in Gabane on the same day. The happy couple met six years ago and have been blessed with two daughters. “This was the most special day of our lives as it was filled with love, joy and happiness. We thank God for all the blessings,” says Time Projects Project Manager Funkie Moroka. ISSUE 32 - DECEMBER 2017 5
