Oris: Sixty-Five Years Later
Commemorating the original Oris Diver watch launched in 1965, the
modern version adds a NATO strap and an aged leather option to
enhance the design cues brought forward from fifty years ago. Made in
stainless steel, the back features the historic shield logo from the brand
while the front integrates a nicely boxed & domed sapphire crystal sitting over vintage color lume markers & hands . Inside the 42mm case
beats a modified Sellita SW 200 (Oris Cal 733) and the uni-directional
bezel is based on the historic original. Recently launched, the Sixty Five
series has also added a new green dial option and all variations are
available on a NATO or distressed leather strap in addition to the standard divers-type rubber, or three-link stainless steel bracelet. Suggested
retail prices range +/- $2,000 depending on your choice of attachment.
