About festival is a service based around global festivals. it offers the new comer and lover of festivals all the music and fashion information they need when planning their memorable experience. my idea came from a personal experience of booking my very first festival, i found the process very difficult when finding out about camping, travel options but most importantly what to wear.; as well as my interest in music and travel.
this is when my business idea came to me, i wanted to combine the two influential industries of music and fashion and create a whole new lifestyle based around festivals.
a magazine and pop up shop will be my two main elements of my business and what will be accessible to my customer. the magazine will provide a summary of some of the top global festivals to go too and they will places where our pop up shops will be located. detailed information on the background of the festivals, the line up, ticket prices and a range of options for travel and accommodation. i want to ensure that there is enough guidance for my customer so they feel at ease when booking their festival. a trend book will also be published in the magazine the purpose of that is to provide inspiration for our customer when putting their outfits together which is becoming more and more vital to get right as the 'festival season' is significant time of the year for my customer. these trends and clothing will also be available exclusively at the pop up shops, in addition there will be a vintage range that is second hand branded clothing which will have the element of reusing clothing and being a sustainbale business.
