Principles of Anti-Cancer Nutrition: A Holistic View

An anti-cancer diet from a holistic, organic, and natural perspective is based on the balance of body, mind, and spirit, promoting foods that strengthen the immune system, reduce inflammation, and help eliminate toxins.

Organic and natural foods, avoiding pesticides, herbicides, and chemicals that can be hormone disruptors.

Prefer fresh, local, and seasonal produce, and use anti-inflammatory and antioxidant foods, such as: brightly colored fruits and vegetables, blueberries, carrots, spinach, turmeric, ginger, spinach, and broccoli.

Include healthy fats, extra virgin olive oil, avocado, nuts, virgin coconut oil, spices and medicinal herbs, turmeric with black pepper, oregano, rosemary, garlic, and red onions.

It is a priority to avoid processed and toxic foods and reduce refined sugar and ultra-processed carbohydrates, which fuel uncontrolled cell growth. Avoid processed meats and sausages due to their high nitrite content.

Prefer alkalizing foods, such as lemon and sea salt, among others. Fruits like strawberries, blackberries, and fresh vegetables, legumes, nuts and seeds, spirulina, chlorophyll, and lemon water can help balance the pH.

Filtered or spring water and herbal infusions are essential. Incorporate purifying foods like dandelion.
