Water brings multiple benefits to the body, it provides oxygen to the brain to keep its functions in excellent condition, it transports the vitamins and minerals that nourish the vital functions of our organs, the respiratory, motor, and endocrine systems, it releases and helps in the elimination of toxins, maintains body temperature, strengthens the immune system, among other benefits.

To know how much water we need, it is important to pay attention to our body's signals, which tell us when to drink water and how much.

Some experts recommend considering body weight, height and exercise habits, since each person has different hydration needs.

Other holistic recommendations are to drink the water at room temperature, since ice water could damage the liver, kidneys and stomach, altering digestive juices.
