Sleep is essential to maintain health and vitality:

a holistic reflection

Mind-body connection: From a holistic perspective, it is recognized that mind and body are closely interconnected. Sleep affects both physical and mental, emotional, and spiritual health. An exhausted mind can affect physical health, and an exhausted body can affect mental health.

Restoration and recovery of the body and mind: during sleep, the body enters a state of repair

and recovery. On a psychological level,

sleeping allows us to process the day's

experiences, solidify memories and

manage emotions.

Cognitive function: Sleep is essential for

cognitive processes such as attention,

decision making, problem solving, and

memory. Insufficient or poor-quality

sleep can negatively affect these

abilities, which can have consequences

on daily life and mental health.

General well-being and quality of life:

people who sleep well tend to report

greater satisfaction in life, better health,

and ability to face daily challenges, they

are more creative, happy, they have better

motor coordination, they are more receptive

and intuitive, they have greater resistance to

infections since sleep is closely related to the immune system.
