The pH of the body in

the different organs

a holistic view

pH is a measure of acidity or alkalinity in the human body, different organs and systems maintain different pH levels to function properly.

• Blood: pH: 7.35 - 7.45 slightly alkaline.

• Stomach: pH: around 1.5 - 3.5 very acidic.

• Small intestine: pH: approximately 6.0 - 7.4.

• Large intestine or colon: pH: Varies between 5.5 - 7.

• Urine: pH: 4.5 - 8.0 may vary depending on diet and other factors.

• Saliva: pH: 6.5 - 7.5.

To have pH balance, an alkaline diet is recommended: consuming foods that tend to alkalize the body can help balance pH. These foods include: fresh vegetables and fruits, nuts and seeds, legumes, whole grains. The mind, emotions and spirit are also important. It is always appropriate to work with holistic health professionals. It is good to consider techniques such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing to reduce stress.

Detoxification therapies: These may include saunas, massages, colon hydrotherapy, among others, to help eliminate toxins and balance pH. and reduce exposure to environmental chemicals and toxins, such as pesticides or toxic cleaning products.
