Cloves, originally from the Moluccas Islands, or Spice Islands, were highly sought after. The Dutch controlled and traded them, and later they arrived in Madagascar. They are used in cooking, are a natural preservative, and are also used in medicine and psychology, as they relieve stress and anxiety and act as a relaxant.

They possess antioxidant properties, regulate free radicals, control pain, and are used as a topical anesthetic in dentistry. They also have anti-aging properties, aid digestion, and control gas. Eugenol is the compound that regulates these processes. It is found in essential oils, which have the highest concentration of Eugenol. Its topical use is very effective and is used to improve joint problems.

It is spicy and aromatic, giving flavor and aroma to food, boosting the immune system, and is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal. It is low in calories and contains magnesium, iron, potassium, and vitamins C, A, and K, among others. It contains polyphenols. It should be used in small quantities and in moderation. It helps circulatory health, acts as an anticoagulant and vasodilator, and controls cholesterol.

It can be consumed as tea combined with other spices, such as orange leaves. It is used in aromatherapy, on the skin, to harmonize the environment, in wellness rituals, and to attract abundance. It is recommended for 7 days, and if you have any contraindications, it should be used for 7 days each month.
