ASA Fashion Show Highlights
African Students' Association (A.S.A) is a club that showcases the different cultures within Africa and portrays the image of the African Continent and her people in a positive manner.
Our goal is to redefine and preserve African culture at UA and the surrounding Tucson community.
We promote unity of the African Diaspora and understanding among the students in ASA, on matters pertaining to socio-economic and political issues in Africa .
We also protect, defend and promote the academic and social interests of A.S.A members.
In addition, A.S.A collaborates with other student bodies here at the University of Arizona, as well as within the community with hope of promoting mutual understanding of the various African cultures as well as educate one another on such topics.
We put on our fourth annual cultural fashion show in order to achieve these above goals and to give back to our community and other deserving foundations.
