4 Lauricella Avenue Keilor East 3033

Keilor East is a very accessible suburb in the northern part of Victoria. Keilor East is in a corner of two major freeways. The Calder Freeway (M79) which stretches through most of Victoria and makes it very easy to go to regional areas of Victoria. The Western Ring Road also intersects at the corner where Keilor East is. This is also a significant sized freeway and you can reach the CBD on it. The Tullamarine Freeway is also nearby and provides a route to the Melbourne Airport and the Essendon Fields. Keilor East is only 13km away from the Melbourne Airport which means a short drive to the airport and a very accessible highway.

Public Transport in the area is good with only buses running at the moment, but there are many different stops in the area which make it easy for a person to get on a bus for the destination they want to go to. The main bus lines that run in the area are the 406 to Footscray via Avondale heights and Maribyrnong and the 475 Monee ponds bus route. To get to the city itself you have to catch about 2 buses and 2 trains which could be a nightmare for some people that have to travel in and out of the city every morning and night. The CBD is about 16 km away and it takes approximately 45-60 minutes to reach the city via public transport using the buses and trains that are available to the public. The government plan to build a train station in the next few years which will provide more accessibility not only into the community but also for the people living there to be able to access other suburbs and the CBD without having to catch many different buses and trains.
