He’s not to be mistaken to be just your typical rapper but a songwriter and lyricist. He allows the beat to speak and is out to bring change with his music. The all-around artist strives for his music to be fresh, unique and real. Understanding his gift comes from God, he takes his musical gift seriously. “The most powerful thing in your body is the tongue,” Trigga says. Once on stage, the transformation begins. His raw talent releases an infectious energy to the audience. He “doesn’t eat before I go on stage because it makes me hungrier for the crowd,” Trigga says. His career in music essentially began at 18 when he performed his first time on stage at a Battle of the Bands show in Churchills, a Miami pub. And just four years later, he’s opened up for well-known artists, such as Keshia Cole, Busta Rhymes, DMX, Fat Joe, Snoop Dogg and Mario, to just name a few. Trigga appeared live on BET’s “106 and Park: WOW,” where he performed and won with over 147,000 votes, to where that minute and forty seconds on T.V. was another indicator and motivation to continue of to follow his goal. “I felt alive,” he says.
