New Artist "One Trigga"

Trigga’s childhood was anything but easy. After growing up in one of the worst neighborhoods in Carol City, experiencing his brother’s death and watching his best friend get shot and coming from a single-parent home where it wasn’t unusual to go days without food, the Miami-based rapper clings to music to make it through life. Music brings him hope. “Everything I went through makes me keep going,” says Trigga, who credits Tupac and his mother as two of his major influences. “I know music is my only way out. “ Although Trigga encountered people in his life who tried to discourage him from following his dream, that just motivated him even harder to pursue what he feels most alive doing– making music. At the same time, Trigga’s drive comes from his best friend who told him he had what it took to make it big in the music industry. “He died the day after he told me that,” Trigga explained. “But I remember his words everyday.” Trigga creates extraordinary hip-hop music. Period. But he certainly doesn’t limit himself to one genre of music, which helps to attract a diverse community of fans and listeners.
