ANNIVERSARY
AND HOW THE CAMPAIGN HAS CREATED LONG LASTING CHANGES
Everyone celebrated 10 Years of OBR in a huge and significant way , alongside “ RISING FOR FREEDOM ” this year . This is general feedback shared by most .
“ In 10 years of OBR , countries in Africa are building partnerships with local organizations , companies , government departments , the police , local government , schools and universities to amplify the OBR call . OBR in Africa , throughout these 10 years , has contributed to lobbying for enactment of laws , law reform , and establishing sustainable initiatives for women and girls at all levels . It is a strong movement in Africa . It is currently the only campaign that does not discriminate against any person and believes in solidarity – not competing with other campaigns .”
