entirety I love it and love to work with a lot of different people and I also in my position to help
people more than any position in the law field.
SJ: What do you like most about your career choice?
CH: Training officers on how they are suppose to prepare and handle their cases. Also, to teach
them how things are suppose to be done. Being able to help someone get on a better path to
recovery weather it was someone who was victimized or someone prosecuted to prevent
recidivism.
SJ: Are there any hardships that you had to face as a female in your career? Are there any
misconceptions/stereotypes about women in your work field that you’ve had to overcome?
CH: I’ve heard tales of plenty judges who don’t think women are suppose to be lawyers but
personally I has not went through that kind of thing personally. I am not completely happy with
my salary , I believe it needs to reflect all the work that I does but I can’t really say if it’s
because I am a female or not. I pretty much get along with everyone I work with and am well
respected with everyone that I work with. The difficult aspect in my job is depending on
someone else to do their job so my things will be right for example cops if they don’t follow the
correct procedures and it makes my case harder to do exactly what I want/need to do as a
prosecutor .
