The standout result of the campaign came just three days later. ICT ran out 5-1 winners at East End Park against Dunfermline. Iain Vigurs netted a prefect Hat-trick, King got his first for the club and Tremarco got a late goal after Greg Tansey’s free kick hit the post.

ICT had delivered when they needed to and qualification would be secure with a win against Arbroath.

Arbroath caught ICT on a day when they really could have got 10+ goals. The new style was in full flow, as Inverness created chance after chance and were 4-0 up after just 38 minutes and the final scoreline showed a 7-0 hammering. Dick Campbell’s side were blown away as Boden got three, Tremarco got two while Vigurs and King got one each. Jake Mulraney ran the show and was awarded the MOTM award.

These early competitive games were just prefect for Richie Foran to prepare his team and get his new style across to the players in early competative matches.
