Musical Ode to his Future Empress
With at least over 10 years in the music scene, Trinidad & Tobago native Caleb
Hart has managed to keep his music fresh and enjoyable. He kicked off 2018 with
a plan to deliver 11 songs over the period. Thus far his musical offerings has deliv-
ered a single dedicated to his mother "Relax", a duet alongside soul-pop singer-
songwriter Tenille Amor (John Legend, Shaggy) on a track titled "Live in the
Moment" ; produced by Track7 Music and an extremely powerful song entitled
"Come Away"(Click here).
The latest one recently released is a soulful ode "Empress". In explaining his inspiration for the song he mentions “I
thought about the crazy world that we live in and how women are treated, not just treated physically, but looked upon
and always expected to be the nurturer, care giver, etc.. I just
thought Lord knows women are stronger than men, in pretty much
every way, but how can I one day be truly be a king to a Queen? I
wasn’t writing for anyone specifically, but I thought of the ways I
could serve my future woman, so I wrote Empress and poured my
heart to whomever she may be, and also on behalf of all men who
want make a difference, not just the cliché but truly honour their
women and treat them as who they are… Queens"
As an individual Caleb’s pass experiences involved opening for Jah Cure
and Glen Washington. His goals include connecting with his audiences
on a personal and spiritual level through his unique sound and lyrics.
