A one group pretest-posttest research design utilizing the Life Balance Inventory ( LBI ) and Engagement in Meaningful Activities Survey ( EMAS ) was used . Although statistically significant scores were not found on the EMAS and LBI , there was a marginally statistically significant difference in pretest and posttest scores for the LBI Challenges and Interests category ( p = 0.087 ).

We used a pretest posttest quasiexperimental design . The Children ’ s Assessment for Participation and Enjoyment ( CAPE ) was used to assess social participation , and the Feelings , Attitudes , and Behaviors Scale for Children ( FAB-C ) was used to assess mood of the children enrolled in a local daycare . Although there were no statistically significant differences found between the pretest and posttest scores of the participants on the CAPE and FAB-C , participants reported that they enjoyed participating in the program .

The quasi-research design of a one-group pretest-posttest was used to collect and analyze quantitative data and yielded no statistically significant improvement in stress levels but statistically significant improvement in anxiety levels .

We used a mixed-method design to analyze data through two quantitative assessments and qualitative feedback before and after the interventions . The results of this study found a marginally statistically significant increase in life satisfaction among participants .
